Caitlin Smith (Learner, Input, Futuristic, Empathy, & Discipline) is an academic advisor in the College of Business Advising and Student Engagement (BASE) office. She has a passion for guiding students; working with them to build their own pathway towards academic success while focusing on the whole student experience.
Her work has been founded in acceptance- making sure everyone feels that they matter- with her experience in previous roles on the Presidential Committee for Acceptance and Special Projects for Doane University, committee member for the Polk Lectureship Series (Doane), and most recent work on the Dean's Committee at UNL.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Midland University in 2009 and master's degree in higher education administration (student affairs concentration) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2014.
