Biography
Jaylen grew up on a farm outside a small town in rural Nebraska. She attended college first at Metropolitan Community College where she earned an Associates in Digital Photography, and then went on to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. While at the University, Jaylen was an active member of the Knoll student council and Housing Welcome Team. Jaylen graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration in 2016.
After graduating, Jaylen first accepted a job at Paul Davis Restoration in Grand Island, and then moved back to Lincoln to work at Cornhusker Bank. Jaylen joined the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as an Administrative Support Associate for the Business Advising and Student Engagment office in October 2018. Her job in BASE includes distributing the College of Business Scholarships, tending to the daily needs of the Advisors, managing Student Assistants, and maintaining an orderly office.
In her spare time, Jaylen loves to travel, and her favorite trip so far was to The Netherlands in 2021.
