Open to all University of Nebraska–Lincoln students, the minor in entrepreneurship equips you with the real-world problem-solving skills, competency, resilience and curiosity to confidently pursue your passions and advance your career. Through a sequence of courses taught by Center for Entrepreneurship faculty, you will have opportunities to learn by doing, make meaningful connections with community and alumni leaders and entrepreneurs and prepare for future entrepreneurial ventures of your own or a career in the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Non-Business Student Track
(9 hours entrepreneurship + 9 hours business for non-majors)
- ENTR 321 - Introduction to Entrepreneurship and Innovation
- ENTR 421 - Identifying and Exploring Entrepreneurial Opportunities
- ENTR 423 - Business Plan Development and Decision Making
- ACCT 200 - Accounting for Business Decisions
- ECON 200 – Economic Essentials and Issues
- MRKT 300 - Contemporary Marketing OR FINA 300 - Financial Decision Making
In addition to the core entrepreneurship curriculum, students on this track will take basic courses in finance, accounting and marketing. This track is intended for students unfamiliar with the foundational business practices.
Business-Student Track
(12 hours entrepreneurship)

Students taking this track will complete the core entrepreneurship courses offered by the Center. This track is intended for students majoring in fields housed within the College of Business.
